Burning the ships – inspired by @SarahRobinson
ByI found this amazing description of a beautiful tribe, a tribe with which I instantly resonated.
Gosh! It feels like she´s using my own thoughts and experiences in her words. Who is she? Well my friends, I really want you to meet Mrs. Sarah Robinson and read her blog post(s) you find in the link below! I have joined this tribe…! Immediately after I read the page "tribe" on her blog. Thanks goes out, once again to @jonathanfields on twitter, whom I follow in my list of "awesomepeople" and to whom I owe a great deal of inspirations in the last few weeks. He is a kick-ass writer, both on his extraordinary blog and in his book (Ain´t got no Christmas-gift-idea yet? Buy his book!) "Career Renegade" + he is one of the most authentic and enjoyable people I have met in the last few months on social media platforms. Period! -And I have met many! Now, tonight I was "listening" in to a twitter conversation between Jonathan and Sarah and got drawn to the conversation by its authenticity. Enjoy Sarah Robinson´s post and come join the tribe. Wow Mirko – I am so honored (and flattered too!). I look forward to getting to know you and am thrilled you are part of the tribe!!
Warmly,
Sarah
Sarah, you are more than welcome and the pleasure is mine. Looking forward to read more posts on your blog.
As you will notice, I have only started my journey a couple of short months ago. Due to my overall fascination of the whole social media revolution I have been attracted to many different fields and got a bit lost in the sea of opportunities. I am about to have my German and my English blog running while working on other projects as well. I know for certain that my time has come to stand up, burn the bridges (and/or the ships) and make it in 2010 – and I don´t think that the alternative (break it) is any option for me.
Isn´t it great to be able to connect like this and meet likeminded people from all over the world. I love it.
Thanks again for your blog post and for your much appreciated comment.
Mirko
